CONTEST RULES
1. The Tournament is scheduled for March 1, 2008
from 6:00 am, until 3:00 pm on Lake Winnebago – with official
weigh-in at
2. Should inclement weather cause cancellation on 03/01/08, the Tournament will be held on 03/02/08, same time, same place. Should inclement ice occur a random drawing will be held 03/02/08 at 11:00 am.
3. Cash prizes will be determined by the weight of a single registered fish. Contestants may register up to three (3) separate fish with a chance to win three (3) separate prizes. In the event of a tie, the first fish registered with the same weight takes priority. Contestants are responsible for verification of weight of fish at time of weigh-in. All weigh-ins will be video-taped, the videotape may be consulted in resolving any disputes regarding this. Any contestant has the right to dispute another contestant by 4:00 pm – All decisions by committee are final.
4. Committee shall have the right to verify that fish were legally caught. The decision of the Judge is final. Cash prize winners of $1,000 or over may be required to take polygraph exams as part of the contest requirements. In the event deception is detected his/her prize will go to the next place.

All fish must be caught and registered at the Judges’ stand
by 4:00 pm on the day of
the contest.
6. All cash prizes will be mailed to the winner within seven (7) days of the tournament. ID and social security number required to claim cash prizes. All ice augers will be awarded on the day of the tournament and must be claimed by 7:00 pm. All unclaimed prizes will remain the property of Oshkosh Southwest Rotary.
7. The entry fee for the tournament is $30.00 per ticket. Deadline for online registration is Thursday, February 28, 2008. NO refunds will be given for any reason. Starting February 29, 2008 tickets will only be available at the retail locations and on Saturday by the main tent and off of Meritt Street landing. Tickets available online at www.battleonbago.com.
8. Contestants are responsible for their own safety, actions and property at all times.

Prizes are the responsibility of the winners, including taxes.
Proper identification is
necessary from all winners so the form 1099-MISC
may be prepared and supplied to the
winners.
11. Failure to comply with any
contest rules subjects contestants to disqualification and removal from the competition site, as determined
by contest officials. Right to refuse to sell or revoke a
competition ticket to anyone is hereby reserved.
12. There will be a Leader
Board located in the registration area. All effort will be made
to keep the board up to date and accurate.

All contestants and other bystanders consent to the use of any
photographs or
likeness of themselves to be used in the
promotion of our contest, including but not limited to print, radio,
or television, etc.

Prizes advertised are Guaranteed.
We would
like to thank you for supporting our efforts to protect the
environment and request
that you
remove refuse, including cigarette butts, from the ice when you
leave. Beer, food, coffee and soda will be available on the ice from
our vendors. After February 23 you will need to bring your printed
purchase receipt so you can pick up your tickets at the registration
desk. We accept Pay Pal and most major credit cards.
